The short answer
What this means for you
Make your services and experience easy to understand. Build useful pages around real buyer questions, then measure project inquiries. AI search needs the same care that a good company website needs.
- Keep important service information in readable text.
- Connect articles to relevant services and real project examples.
- Track qualified inquiries alongside search visits.
Start with the search foundations
Google says its existing SEO guidance also applies to AI Overviews and AI Mode.[1]
Our view: For a company website, this puts clear pages ahead of a separate AI marketing checklist. A buyer needs to understand what you build, who the service suits, and how to contact you.
Check your main service pages first. Give each page a clear purpose, useful examples, and a direct path to a project inquiry.
Write for real business decisions
Build articles around decisions your buyers make. Explain a website rebuild, a product launch, or a system integration through concrete choices and tradeoffs.
Our view: A news summary helps a buyer when it explains the practical effect of a change. A model announcement alone does not explain whether a company should change its website or software.
State the reported facts first. Mark your interpretation clearly. Link to the original source and explain any limits in the available evidence.
Connect the article to a useful next step
Link each article to a relevant service and a project example. Choose links that help the reader continue the same decision.
Our view: A reader who studies an application integration needs different context from a reader who plans a company website. Relevant service links make the next step clear.
Use a short project brief to collect the goal, the current problem, and the planned timeline. Avoid asking readers to supply details they do not know yet.
Measure inquiries and keep the limits clear
Meeting Google’s requirements does not guarantee that a page appears in Search.[1]
Review which pages lead to project inquiries. Record the service requested and whether the inquiry fits your work.
Our view: Search visits show discovery. Qualified inquiries show business value. Use both measures before you increase the number of articles you publish.
